KIND WORDS FROM FRIENDS

PRISCILLA TURNER

“Following a few weeks post knee replacement, I had to attend a family funeral in Surrey, some distance from where I live in Suffolk. My priority health wise was to find a competent physiotherapist locally. I found this in Martin! My knee therapy soon expanded to my traumatised back and for several intensive days Martin made himself available and provided a high degree of care. I knew as soon as I met him I was in capable hands. His professionalism and diligence ensured I was able to not only walk in comfort but undergo a long journey. I strongly recommend Martin. He is passionate about his work and demonstrates this through his attitude and technique.”

TOM WALSHE

“I first went to Symmetry Performance 6 months ago after my GP had referred me to physio for a series of lingering rugby injuries. A work colleague had recommended Martin and I was immediately impressed with how quickly I was able to get an appointment. What made Nikki different to previous physiotherapists I’d seen was how thorough her initial assessment was, which made it clear her treatment had long term corrections in mind as oppose to quick fixes. Each session began with movement screens as well as my anecdotal feedback so the treatment could evolve and change with my progress. Everything was truly personalised and not a “one size fits all” approach. Nikki applied a variety of treatments and approaches including movement screening, exercise programming and selection, stretching and deep tissue massage, which meant things never got boring. Seeing Nikki at Symmetry performance has put me right back on track, allowed me to avoid surgery and taught me techniques that I can use for years to come.”

MIKE TINDALL

“I've been to see Martin O'Connell repeatedly throughout my playing career. I can confidently say at all times he helped me with my rehabilitation and return to play status. In fact, I recommended him to numerous others also. He's a great physiotherapist who understand the demands placed on elite sports people.”
